Shannon Wallace

As an advocate for the human’s adventurous and creative spirit through interactive expression and communication, Shannon Wallace has served as a 25-year executive-level practitioner in international music, marketing, television, and State and federal public policy/advocacy. Likewise and for over 25 years, Shannon has been a professional jazz vocalist fronting big band orchestras to small trios, touring the United States and parts of Europe and Asia. Beyond singing, her musical work has also included presenting/speaking at national and international conferences, professional industry seminars and music business workshops; and mentoring high school and collegiate-level students who want to make a positive impact in their communities through music. In 2019, Shannon was selected by the World Academy for the Future of Women as their final recipient of a U.S. State Department Cultural Arts Grant – Give Voice to Women Through the Arts. As a result, she served Sias University students and the people of Henan, China by musically performing for, engaging and discussing with, and inspiring all-aged audiences about how they might find their own purpose, passion and path to success.  As a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP), Shannon also specializes in providing in-person and virtual, interactive Musical Memory Care workshops for active adults and those of all ages living with all forms of dementia and cognitive impairment.
