Granted special consultancy status by United Nations

In 2021, Global Interactions, Inc., the non-profit that created the World Academy for the Future of Women, was granted special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), which enables our organization to:

  • Provide expert analysis on issues based on our direct experience in the field;
  • Serve as an early warning agent;
  • Raise public awareness of relevant issues;
  • Play a major role in advancing UN goals and objectives; and
  • Contribute with essential information at UN events.

In addition, we are permitted to:

  • Attend UN-sponsored international conferences and events;
  • Make written and oral statements at these events;
  • Organize side events at these events to increase awareness about our programs and the global issues they address;
  • Enter UN premises;
  • Network with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and UN entities and representatives; and
  • Enlarge our collaborative network and participate with world leaders.
