Dr. Martha Burk is a political psychologist and women’s issues expert specializing in gender pay equity. She serves as the Money Editor for Ms magazine, She produces and hosts the public radio show Equal Time with Martha Burk for KSFR public radio, and is a frequent contibutor to xxx on New Mexico PBS. From 2000-2006 Dr. Burk served as Chair of the National Council of Women’s Organizations a network of over 200 national women’s groups collectively representing ten million women. Dr. Burk has conducted training workshops with women’s NGOs internationally and has presented at conferences in 30 foreign countries, many under sponsorship of the U.S. Department of State.USAID, and the United Nations.
